Welcome! We are Cori and Cassidy, the mother-daughter duo, makers, and longarm quilters behind Sand & Cedar Quilting.
Our company name is a direct nod to our roots: Cori operates our physical quilting studio among the mountains and lakes of Sandpoint, Idaho, while Cassidy manages our customer headquarters from the red rocks of Cedar City, Utah. Our studio was born out of a shared obsession with textiles, design, and a desire to stay close despite living in different states. We know firsthand that a quilt top isn’t just fabric—it represents dozens of hours of your dedication, patience, and creativity. That is why we treat every project mailed to us with the exact same care, precision, and respect we give our own family heirlooms.
Operating our business across state lines allows us to blend our unique strengths perfectly. Cori runs our Idaho production space, managing the technical longarm operations, machine calibration, and computerized layout. Meanwhile, from Utah, Cassidy serves as our dedicated client coordinator. From the moment your package arrives to the final stitch, Cassidy is working behind the scenes sending you email updates, sharing behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, and keeping you informed on all things quilt. Together, we use high-precision computerized technology to give your tops that perfectly even, edge-to-edge finish and signature cozy crinkle.
